Terms of Service

Promy, provided by Promy, Inc. (“Promy”, “we”, “us”), is an AI-powered prompt engineering assistant. It analyzes prompts you provide and rewrites them to produce better results from third-party AI tools. Promy enhances prompts; it does not control or guarantee the output of any third-party AI tool you use them with.

You need an account to use Promy. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use Promy.

Promy offers a free tier with a daily limit on the number of enhancements, and paid subscription plans that remove that limit. Limits, features, and pricing for each plan are described on our pricing page and may change over time. Changes do not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

• Paddle is our Merchant of Record. Payments are processed by Paddle.com. When you purchase a subscription, Paddle handles the transaction, billing, and tax collection, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
• Recurring billing. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Taxes. Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), which are calculated and added at checkout where required.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.

If Promy does not work as described, contact us within 14 days of your purchase and we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide a refund for the most recent payment, at our reasonable discretion. Refunds are processed through Paddle. To request one, email support@usepromy.app with your account email and order details. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

You agree not to:

• Use Promy for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose, or to generate content that violates the policies of the AI tools you use it with.
• Attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits, authentication, or other technical restrictions.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing service from Promy.
• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk or legal exposure for us.

Promy and its software, branding, and design are owned by Promy, Inc. You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and the enhanced results you receive. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you (including storing your history and sending prompt content to our AI provider for enhancement).

Promy is designed to work alongside third-party AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others. We are not affiliated with these providers, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior, or output of any third-party tool.

Promy is provided “as is” and “as available”. AI-generated enhancements may be imperfect, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations. You are responsible for reviewing enhanced prompts before using them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promy and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using Promy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for legal or security reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) will continue to apply.

We may update these terms as the product and legal requirements evolve. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
